		The 2005 Fall Meeting of the Royal Spas took place this year in the Hungarian Royal Spa of Sarvar. The Mayor and the Spa Director were able to convince the representatives of the other Royal Spas and guests from Archena, Marienbad, Budapest and Bad Neuenahr of the extraordinary cooking traditions in Sarvar with an exquisite menu of the last Bavarian Royal House of Wittelsbacher, which had taken up residence in Sarvar. A string quartet supplied the musical background. During the tour of the Nadasdy Castle which followed, the city fathers reminded their guests of earlier visits of such notable and distinguished persons as Mozart and Haydn.The Chairman of the Royal Spas, Rainer Mertel, expressed his complete and total satisfaction with the meeting during a press conference which followed: “Sarvar has proven itself to be a valuable, worthy and dignified new member”. Also, the large, modern thermal bathing facilities, as well as the modern and expansive hotel offering are just the kind of offering, that a guest in a Royal Spa expects.” Mr. Mertel’s praises were captured by two Hungarian television stations. The next meeting of the Royal Spas was announced during the next year’s International Tourism Fair (ITB) from 8-11 March 2006, in Berlin. Invitations were also passed out for the press conference which will take place on 10th March 2006.
