Guests can choose from four types of massage specialities: traditional Hawaiian Lomilomi, Thai massage, the Stone massage and the Pantai Luar thermomassage which is paired with aromatic herbs. During the body treatments Indonesian cosmetics are used (Ajaran), made of the purest natural compounds. Services are also available for those who do not stay in the hotel, but would like to refresh and relax.

Reconstruction works on the spas of Hungary’s capital
On the occasion of a season opening press conference, held on 27th April, in the Széchenyi Spa in Budapest, a brief summary was given about the reconstruction works on the spas of Hungary’s capital.

Since 1998 approximately 7,2 billion forints has been spent on reconstructions of spas in Budapest from funds provided by the local government, tenders and the spas themselves. 5 billion has been spent on modernizing water circulating and filter systems, the rest of the resources were spent on reconstruction of thermal pools, facades, installation of automated entrance systems and on carrying out interior overhauls. During the following two years further billions were going to be spent on similar projects, among others on improving the hidraulic equipments of thermal pools in the Széchenyi, Gellért and Lukacs Spas.
The reconstruction of Széchenyi Spa is drawing to an end this year, by finishing fitting equipments to be suitable for the disabled and rebuilding the thermal pools and the attached areas. Since 1998 – due to 2 billion forints worth of investments – the spa’s interior and exterior design and surroundings gained a beautiful and gripping look. Newly added sections are the assembly hall, a restaurant facing the pool with a terrace fit for 100 people, a wellness centre providing thai massage, gym, infra sauna and solarium.

Kempinsky hotel to be built within the Rac project
According to prior plans the reconstruction and extention of the Rac Spa in Budapest has started early this year. Under the project a Kempinsky hotel is going to be built, next to the building of the Spa. Building operations are expected to end by October 2006, establishing a spa unique in Europe. The concept behind reconstructing the building was to create a spa meeting today’s requirements, where you can find many different pools, accomodation and beauty shops as well. An ’adventure pool’ and a separate pool for children is also going to be added to the first floor of the renewed spa.
