Naantali Spa Hotel has a clear vision: we wish to be a pioneering spa hotel in the Nordic countries. The Sunborn Yacht ship hotel anchored in front of the hotel, something totally new in the world of spa hotels, is only one example of the innovative way in which we develop our services.

Naantali Spa Hotel, which received the Meeting and Conference Hotel of the Year award, is continuously vibrant with new ideas: since August, our new Aqua Therapies section has been ready to pamper our customers, and in September – October, a German-style Oktoberfest will take place.

"The competition for conference and holiday customers is tough, and in addition to basic services, they also want new experiences. This is why continuous renewal is required of us, both in terms of services and the setting", explains Overseas-Sales Manager Marianne Hildén from Naantali Spa Hotel.

The Spa Hotel has 200 employees, so there are plenty of clever minds to think up new ideas. The latest is to add spice to a traditional spa holiday with a number of themes: in the autumn, the Spa Hotel will be taken over by the cheerful Oktoberfest, complete with a marquee and German drinking songs. During the freezing cold weeks of January and February, the hearts of the Spa Hotel guests will be warmed by our exotic Far East theme weeks.

"We wish to offer something for all the senses, and this is why our themes combine various elements, such as entertainment, new therapies, tastes and smells. Along the themes, we always reserve our guest the option of quiet relaxation and a traditional spa holiday", says Marketing Director Päivi Dahl.

For conference customers, a new Banquet Hall was completed at the Spa Hotel last summer, which is available for such as impressive business occasions and launching parties. The magnificent hall sits as many as 300 people.

Refreshingly different Spa Hotel

For the second time, Naantali Spa Hotel was this year again elected the Meeting and Congress Hotel of the Year amongst nearly 30 service providers.

"Our strengths include a splendid setting beside the sea and at good connections, plenty of activities and an experienced staff. Our famous kitchen is praised even by our international customers", Director of Naantali Spa Hotel, Hans Niemi, lists the reasons behind the Hotel's success.

The new Aqua Therapies section was opened in August. In its decoration, therapeutic materials and colours were used, and the spa experience culminates in real candles.

The decoration shows many influences of the calming Japanese style. The treatments include not only pampering aromatherapy and the gentle touch of water but also relaxing music and stimulating light. The exoticism of the North is represented by the refreshing Arctic Bath, after which you can enjoy a glass of steaming hot herbal tea.

"The finishing touch on your holiday at the Spa Hotel is the archipelago surrounding it, which at the end of the summer season is resplendent with autumn colours. As the nights start getting colder, why not take a dip in the Spa Hotel's outdoor pool and luxuriate in the 30-degree water under clear starry skies", Hildén tempts us.
