| One of the highlights of the year in the north-Hesse spa town of Bad Wildungen is the major flower procession, which in recent years has become a huge magnet for the public with more than 50,000 visitors. On Sunday, 5 September, an abundance of blossoms will again decorate a good twenty large, magnificent theme floats: They are the highlights which, accompanied by around eight music bands, will roll through the picturesque old town with its timber frame buildings and along the Brunnenallee promenade to the “Kurhaus” (assembly rooms). A truly fabulous parade, because well over 400,000 dahlia blossoms will lend this procession, virtually unique in Germany, a very special brilliance. |
