Immerse into Baden-Baden’s agile past and stroll along the art- and culture-mile of the Lichtental Alley and enjoy art and cultural highlights in the “Festspielhaus” (Europe’s second largest opera and festival hall), Theater and “Kurhaus” (old spa room). According to the famous Marlene Dietrich, the over 250-year-old, full of tradition Baden-Baden casino is “the most beautiful casino in the world” not only because of its unique elegance. Gorgeous beautiful, extraordinary and historical buildings of the city and its charming surroundings inspire with many different facings. One of the most beautiful Christmas markets awaits your visit in front of the illuminated “Kurhaus” from November 24, to December 26, 2006.
Baden-Baden is very well connected to Autobahn and railway and the airport Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden ensures a stress-free arrival to visitors from European metropolis. Thus, there is for example a three times daily flight connection from Berlin to Baden-Baden (starting at EUR 15,- one-way).
