The pre-Christmas Baden-Baden wants to make every effort to spoil its visitors. The Christmas market, which is in front of the impressive background of the Kurhaus and the theatre is particularly idyllic and offers many surprises. The small traffic free streets and the beautiful architecture of the old town, with the Christmas lights and exclusive boutiques, provide the perfect surroundings for a quiet stroll or stress-free Christmas shopping. The “Advent” package is on offer from 1st to 20th December 2004 with a wide variety of “extras”: e.g. Christmas menu and a little surprise at the Christmas market.
The “Fit through the winter” and “Gourmet” packages are available throughout the season. The exquisite light fitness menu, a visit to the magnificent Roman-Irish baths and a stimulating massage, quickly bring you back to form and prepare you for everyday life. Or enjoy a gourmet menu, which can be put together according to your wishes in one of five excellent restaurants in and around Baden-Baden, as well as an invitation to the famous Baden-Baden Casino with a champagne reception.
All packages include a 25 percent discount on a wide variety of top-class events in the spa, theatre and festival opera house in Baden-Baden. Of course the winter special guests are also invited to join the guided city tours on every Sunday.
It is almost as if Baden-Baden, the “city of short distances”, was especially created for short holidays away from everyday life.
