		Once you experienced the exciting moment when the galloping horses pass by at the grandstand for the last few meters, the voice of the speaker getting faster and louder and suddenly the sound of fissling pool coupon in your ears – you will return over and over again. The International Horse Races in Iffezheim taking place three times a year: the “Frühjahrsmeeting” in spring (May, 12th – 20th), the “Große Woche” in summer (August, 25th – September 2nd,) and the “Sales & Racing Festival” in autumn (October, 19th – 21st) classy pure bred horses and ravishing high society beauties, a colourful folk festival as well as a champagne party. The highest prized thoroughbreds of the world, the international jockey elite on saddle, battle for the grand award of Baden which is renowned as one of the top 14 races oft the “World Series Racing Championships”. High endowed prices and premiums in figures of millions are being awarded. The International Horse Races are not only perfect enjoyment for enthusiasts of the equestrian sport freaks but have an excellent overall reputation. At the same time the traditional “Augustaplatz-Meeting” at the Palais Gagarin and the “Kurpark Meeting” in front of the “Kurhaus”, a culinary neck-and neck-race of the top class gastronomes, are offering great entertainment. Not amazing that the most beautiful international film and TV stars won’t pass this symbiosis of race-meeting and glamour.
