The Grosser Preis von Baden features among the top 14 races in the illustrious “World Series Racing Championship”. But you don’t need to be a seriously rich oil sheik to place your bets and make even more money. “Many a mickle makes a muckle” as the saying goes, and of course it was at Baden-Baden that the high-est winnings in the history of German turf were paid out: the return on a three-way bet for just 2 marks 50 was the tidy sum of 126,639 marks!
